Job Description
Digital Building Components, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager who will manage warehouse operations within a prefabrication manufacturing facility, including material receiving, inventory control, material distribution, shipping, and storage activities. They will oversee the flow of materials and components to support production schedules and project delivery requirements. They lead warehouse personnel and coordinate with production, supply chain, logistics, and project teams to maintain inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and workplace safety. Finally, they will ensure warehouse processes, equipment utilization, and material handling practices support manufacturing and operational objectives. Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material issuance, and shipping activities supporting prefabrication production and project delivery.

  • Leads, coaches, and evaluates warehouse team members, establishing expectations for productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safe work practices.

  • Oversees inventory accuracy through cycle count programs, inventory reconciliation, stock rotation, and material tracking processes.

  • Coordinates material availability and movement with production, procurement, logistics, and project stakeholders to support manufacturing schedules and delivery commitments.

  • Develops and maintains warehouse organization, storage strategies, and material handling processes that support efficient operations and space utilization.

  • Oversees the safe operation, inspection, and maintenance coordination of warehouse equipment, vehicles, and material handling systems.

  • Analyzes warehouse performance metrics and implements process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, inventory control, and service levels.

Required Skills and Abilities
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
  • Strong communication, listening, leadership, and collaboration skills for fostering effective relationships with teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organization, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to create and support team morale.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.

Education and Experience
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent experience required.

  • Associate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 7-10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management, manufacturing support, or a related field required.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role required.

  • Forklift Operator certification required or obtainable within 3 months of hire required.
