The Prefab Requisition Coordinator is a role for an Electrician to help control materials, prefab production, and project success. This role is responsible for coordinating material and component requests required to support electrical prefabrication and field installation. This position reviews project requirements, receives and organizes requisitions from project teams, verifies material availability, and coordinates with purchasing, warehouse, prefab, and project management to ensure materials are available when needed.
Core responsibilities
  • To receive, review, quantify materials for all prefab requisitions
  • Create Material charge outs for all Requisitions and place in queue
  • Create labor logs and Quality Control Checks
  • Maintain accurate inventory changeouts and identify shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with project teams when materials are unavailable, backordered, or require substitution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records within company systems.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing, project management, administrators, field personnel, Prefab Manager and Prefab Operations Manager

Must-have qualifications
• South Dakota Apprentice License preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and understand material lists, pick lists, and basic construction documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple material requests and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Electrical construction material experience preferred.
