Ready to turn signals into solutions?
If you love finding patterns in complex machine data and rallying people around clear next steps, this role is for you. As a Predictive Maintenance Data Consultant, youโll remotely assess equipment health, tackle challenging alerts as a secondary support resource, and help customers take the right action at the right time. For deeper, high-complexity scenarios, youโll collaborate with Senior Condition Monitoring Experts to advance analysis and communication.
Imagine this
A pump starts to drift. Ultrasound shows a subtle shift, vibration hints at imbalance, and oil analysis reveals contamination. You connect the dots, isolate the likely cause, and guide the team to the fixโbefore failure. Thatโs your mission.
How youโll deliver
- Apply data analysis tools across ultrasound, vibration, lubrication, and other sensor streams to detect component degradation early.
- Trace trend changes to probable causes and recommend proactive, targeted corrective actions that reduce downtime and costs.
- Create concise asset health summaries, critical findings, and root cause narratives that turn analytics into front-line action.
- Host standing review calls; respond to inbound/escalated inquiries via phone and platform; engage Senior Condition Monitoring Experts on advanced cases.
- Act as secondary triage for customer requests, resolving independently when possible or routing appropriately.
- Work directly with technicians to support troubleshooting, data capture, and on-the-job implementation of fixes.
- Audit device installations, validate signal quality, and deliver initial insights during the programโs first baseline pass.
- Lead customer training and technical consultations on data interpretation and corrective strategies.
- Quantify value by estimating cost savings and surfacing continuous improvement initiatives.
What youโll need
- Associate degree or equivalent technical education with 4 years of relevant experience, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing and predictive maintenance disciplines.
- Strong command of machine diagnostics and complex operating systems.
- Clear, customer-first communication skills.
Bonus credentials
- Progress toward NDT Level I (Ultrasound, Thermography/Infrared, Vibration).
- ISO Category I in Lubrication/Oil Analysis.
- ISO Category II in Vibration.
Core strengths
- Safety
- Customer Focus
- Communication
