Job description
- Assist with water development: installation, maintenance, and monitoring
- Assist with hunting/ family/ guest relations
- Maintain an intensive supplemental feeding program for deer and exotic animals
- Develop and maintain food plots for deer and game birds
- Keep detailed computer records of game camera scouting
- Predator control of feral hogs and coyotes
- Clean up and beautification of ranch
- Application of herbicides to manage habitat, fencerows, and water traps
- Maintenance and upkeep of ranch equipment, vehicles, and facilities
- Heavy equipment operation and maintenance (tractors, skid steers, backhoe's)
- Fence construction, repair, and maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service to family and guests
- Ability to keep a positive attitude and work nights & weekends when needed
- Wildlife Specialist must have the ability to work anytime from September - February, including weekends and Holidays.
- Assist with any and other ranch activities as assigned by ranch management
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
- Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
