You will

  • Be given opportunities to work on complex infrastructure projects in the GTA
  • Provide leadership to your project team
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting, collaborative relationships with clients, GCs, consultants, owners, developers, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to enhance our position in the market.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced and competent industry leaders
  • Have the opportunity to assist in the pursuit, of targeted P3/AFP, Design-Build, Design-Assist, and IPD projects.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, organizing, execution, monitoring, and commissioning of projects from preconstruction to completion according to company, schedule, financial, and client relationship objectives.
  • Manage project teams and subcontractors with professionalism
  • Strong involvement in labour management and site progress
  • Identify and manage risk exposure to the organization
  • Provide insight and recommendations into the design, logistics, feasibility, risk assessment, and opportunities for value engineering
  • Manage the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules and milestones, and coordinate resource requirements.
  • Provide active promotion and leadership of the health and safety of all team members; ensure that the company program and processes are adhered to and that safety remains at the forefront.
  • Assist in pre-job planning including estimate turnover, kick-off meetings, vendor and subcontractor partnering, material/equipment management strategies, and resource planning.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the procurement process on projects.
  • Preparation of progress and financial forecasting and reporting.
