Job description

An established electrical contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale projects from preconstruction through closeout while mentoring project teams and driving consistency, profitability, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, deep knowledge of electrical systems, and a proven track record managing high-value projects.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee multiple commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from planning through completion
- Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining long-term relationships
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and project teams, supporting development and performance
- Support estimating efforts including bid strategy, site walks, and collaboration with preconstruction teams
- Oversee subcontractor and vendor selection, pricing, and performance
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect project success
- Monitor cost tracking, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards across projects
- Coordinate across internal teams, branches, and leadership to drive operational efficiency
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Support change order management, contract negotiations, and billing processes
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Project Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management required
