Precision Tig Welding Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Ferco Aerospace is looking for a skilled TIG Welder who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and producing work that meets the highest quality standards.

Our welders work on complex aerospace components where accuracy matters. This is not high-volume production welding—you’ll work with thin-gauge materials, detailed blueprints, and tight specifications to produce parts that must meet demanding customer and industry requirements.

• Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel aerospace components.

• Weld sheet material ranging approximately from 0.035" to 0.250" thickness.

• Set up welding equipment and select the appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters based on job requirements.

• Prepare parts for welding through cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other fabrication processes.

• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, job routers, and specifications.

• Produce welds that meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements.

• Inspect your own work throughout the welding process and make adjustments as necessary.

• Maintain proper weld quality while working efficiently and meeting production expectations.

• Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other equipment required for fabrication and weld preparation.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

• Work independently while also supporting the needs of the team and department.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous TIG welding experience is required.

• Experience welding stainless steel, Inconel, or other specialty alloys strongly preferred.

• Ability to weld thin-gauge material with accuracy and consistency.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision.

• Willingness to learn new processes, materials, and techniques.

• Ability to accept feedback and continuously improve welding skills.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Previous aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.

• Ability to perform fabrication activities that may include grinding, hammering, and manipulating metal parts.

• Ability to safely wear all required personal protective equipment.

• Must be able to successfully complete required vision screenings.

• Ability to work extended hours or overtime during peak workloads or special projects.

1st Shift amp; Training
Monday–Thursday
6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

2nd Shift
Monday–Thursday
4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

Overtime may be required based on production needs, including additional hours during the week and Sundays.
