Division: Precision Pulley and Idler

Reports To: Production Supervisor

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Produce defined quantity of parts and components according to specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.


More specifically, the person will:

  • Press components into cans/rolls including but not limited to bearings, seals, and snap rings.
  • Position components including but not limited to cans/rolls, bearings, shafts, seals, and pushnuts before assembling product.
  • Stack components including but not limited to pushnuts and seals.
  • Assemble and ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
  • Report material and/or paperwork errors to supervisor.
  • Collect required data.
  • Use and understand various paperwork, including but not limited to schedules, prints, and tech standards.
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
  • Regular, consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS
