Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs setups on production machines given necessary technical data and tooling.
  • Efficiently operate assigned machines with minimal rejects and machine downtime.
  • Use root cause analysis to solve common machine problems.
  • Actively participates in job planning and strategic meetings.

  • Assists less-experienced machine technicians/operators.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with setting and troubleshooting automated lathes machines (example: CNC or screw machines).

  • Experience with job planning and layouts.

  • Knowledge of tooling geometry and metal cutting principles.

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Able to inspect parts using precision measuring equipment.

  • Must be able to spend at least the first 2 months on 1st shift (7:00 am - 4:00 pm)
  • Must be able to work on either 2nd/3rd shift every 3-6 months
    • 2nd shift = 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
    • 3rd shift = 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Compensation & Benefits

Your pay is determined based on your skills and experience.

  • Some basic experience = $20 - 25 / hour

  • Fully independent = $26 - 40 / hour

  • 2nd & 3rd shift = + $2.50 / hour
