As a Prep Technician you will...
  • Set up, operate, monitor, clean and maintain equipment related to burn, blend, and sample
    processes.
  • Move and dump drums.
  • Operate various chemical batch process equipment in a safe manner.
  • Keep accurate Batch/Run sheets to maintain good metal control.
  • Perform general maintenance responsibilities:
  • Repair mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Detect and report the need for maintenance repairs.
  • Ability to understand a process and ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
  • Operate mobile equipment, including but not limited to: forklift, man lift, scissor lift, tractor and
    skid steer.
  • Follow all safety regulations.
  • Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in work area.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to understand a process and ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations associated with a chemical operation.
  • Knowledge of proper material handling procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • 0 to 5 years Industrial/Mechanical maintenance experience
