Location: Precinct 3 Commissioner's Office 1130 Pruitt Road, Spring, TX 77380
Civil Service: Yes
Shift Hours: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; rotating on-call schedule (24/7 for one week every four weeks); some weekend work; available to work all natural disasters, emergencies
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must have valid driver' license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work outside for long hours
• Be able to work alone, pick up trash and other road hazards etc.
• Work well with others
• Ability to read and pass test for safety classes
• Be on call
• Be able to operate a weed eater/perform lawn maintenance
• Good verbal communication skills
• Good hand, eye coordination
• Irrigation and landscaping
Primary Job Duties
• Responsible for the maintenance of county rights of way
• Operate equipment for improvement of county rights of way including mowing, drainage, and concrete repair
• Any and all other duties as assigned
  • Must have the ability to work in person - not remote.

After receiving a conditional offer of employment, applicant must pass a drug screen (1/2 cost = $20.00, responsibility of applicant) and may need a physical agility test (1/2 cost = $22.50, responsibility of applicant) before becoming an employee of Montgomery County.
