Requirements

About Us:

Independent Bible Church is a Christ centered, Bible teaching congregation with an average attendance of 55. We are committed to spiritual formation, community outreach, and living out the gospel in our city. Our church family is warm, relational, and eager to follow God’s leading into the next season of ministry.

Role Summary:

The Lead Pastor provides spiritual leadership, clear biblical teaching, and shepherding care for the congregation. This role includes preaching, vision development, leadership of ministry teams, and guiding the church toward its mission with humility and wisdom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preach and teach Scripture with clarity and conviction

• Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance

• Lead and develop ministry leaders

• Collaborate with board on vision, strategy, and church health

• Support outreach, discipleship, and community engagement

Qualifications:

• Meets biblical qualifications for elder (1 Tim 3, Titus 1)

• Demonstrated calling to pastoral ministry

• Strong preaching and communication skills

• Relational, humble, and team oriented leadership style

• Seminary or Bible College degree preferred; ministry experience required

• Alignment with our doctrinal statement and ministry philosophy



Benefits

Compensation:

Salary range of $40k to 50k, housing allowance, professional allowance, paid vacations, and retirement contribution.
