Contract Commissioning Manager - Wastewater Projects

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract Commissioning Manager to join our dynamic team in the wastewater treatment industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the commissioning process for complex wastewater treatment projects, ensuring that all systems and equipment are properly installed, tested, and operational before handover to the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans for wastewater treatment facilities and related infrastructure
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the commissioning process, including pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of commissioning activities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests of all systems and equipment to verify proper installation and functionality
  • Identify and resolve any issues or deficiencies discovered during the commissioning process
  • Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, performance data, and recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols throughout the commissioning process
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders
  • Manage commissioning budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commissioning wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure
  • Proven track record as a Commissioning Manager or similar role in the wastewater industry
  • Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies
  • Extensive experience in project management, including budget and schedule control
  • Proficiency in commissioning methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent understanding of relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
