Job description

General Responsibilities:

  • Provides educational expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the development of Epic education.
  • Provides live or Webex new hire, upgrade and refresher training to staff.
  • Maintains educational materials for assigned application(s).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field
  • Experience in Epic application systems and healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships that foster optimal quality teamwork and education.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple priorities.
  •  Understanding and interpreting clinical and non-clinical workflows, processes, and terminology in order to translate information into educationally sound training content.
  • Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
