Who We Are

Overflow Church is a church of 400-500, multiethnic, multigenerational church in Southwest Michigan that has experienced consistent growth coming out of COVID. During the pandemic Overflow experienced a year-long pastoral transition, Overflow averaged around 100 in weekly attendance. In that season, the church faithfully endured leadership transition and uncertainty. In 2021, Overflow Church hired Pastor Elijah Shamenda, and since that time the church has experienced year-over-year growth, renewed clarity of mission, and increasing health across attendance, leadership, and generosity.

Overflow is led by a committed Elder team, pastoral staff, and ministry leaders who believe we are called to be more than a local congregation, we believe we are called to be a regional church. Our vision is to plant five campuses over the next ten years, and we are actively pursuing the launch of our first campus in Kalamazoo.

We are passionate about reaching the neighbor and the stranger those both near and far from God, and we are looking for a Worship Pastor who wants to be part of a big, faith-filled vision that requires sacrifice, teamwork, and long-term commitment.
