IMB Connections Center Specialist

Are you passionate about serving others and helping advance the Great Commission?

As an IMB Connections Center Specialist, you'll be the trusted first point of contact for churches, donors, ministry partners, and individuals seeking to engage with IMB's global mission work.

Location: Richmond, VA Schedule: Fulltime Compensation: $23.57-27.73 per hour*

The IMB Connections Center Specialist provides welcoming, professional support across multiple communication channels, ensuring every interaction reflects IMB's voice, values, and commitment to exceptional service. This role serves as a trusted resource for constituents, helping resolve inquiries, maintain accurate records, and provide personalized guidance to help individuals, churches, and partners engage in global missions through going, giving, praying, and sending.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming constituent interactions through phone calls, emails, web chats, and contact forms, serving as IMB's trusted first point of connection and guidance.
  • Guide individuals, churches, and partners towards meaningful next steps in global missions through prayer strategies, giving avenues, training opportunities, and mobilization resources.
  • Identify opportunities for constituents to partner strategically with field teams or field-based connection networks.
  • Support constituents seeking to serve alongside IMB teams as volunteers by providing solutions, equipping, and follow-up.
  • Serve as a key partner with other US Engagement and IMB teams to support and advance IMB's engagement strategy.
  • Maintain accurate records of constituent interactions and resolution outcomes, leveraging each touchpoint to strengthen data quality and support effective engagement.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree, preferred
  • At least 1-3 years of customer service, administrative support, ministry support, or related experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and business systems.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and continually improving customer experience
