The School of Nursing seeks a detail oriented Clinical Placement & Practicum Administrative Coordinator to support practicum operations on a per semester basis. This temporary, part time role (20 hours per week) focuses on student placement logistics, compliance tracking, and practicum course administration. The Coordinator functions to ensure timely student onboarding, monitors documentation in Typhon and Complio, updates Canvas practicum shells, and supports faculty with essential practicum related administrative tasks. This position is critical for maintaining CCNE aligned documentation and ensuring smooth practicum workflows each semester. The Administrative Coordinator is a support role that focuses on student-level placement logistics, compliance tracking, and practicum course operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate student placement into already-approved clinical sites and preceptors
  • Track and verify student onboarding documentation and compliance requirements in Typhon and Complio
  • Monitor practicum submissions, midterm/final evaluations, and student progress throughout the semester
  • Update and maintain practicum master shells, faculty hub modules, assignments, announcements, and course materials in Canvas
  • Prepare and schedule practicum orientation communications, check-in reminders, and semester-start announcements
  • Respond to student inquiries related to practicum documentation, placement steps, and compliance systems
  • Upload practicum meeting recordings, PPTs, and updated course documents
  • Maintain practicum databases and assist with semester reporting and CCNE-aligned documentation
  • Provide administrative support for practicum policy updates, handbook revisions, and faculty needs

Required Qualifications
  • Experience in academic, administrative, or clinical education support roles strongly preferred
