The Head Start Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team of professionals. This full-time remote position is essential to our mission of providing exceptional substance use and mental health counseling to youth, adults, and families. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance while you work from your own comfortable setting. You will utilize secure telehealth platforms to conduct counseling sessions, ensuring client confidentiality and a professional environment.

• Conduct individualized counseling sessions using evidence-based practices and interventions to address substance abuse and mental health concerns.
• Manage a caseload of clients while developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
• Utilize a billing service system to ensure efficient claims processing, handle client accounts, verify insurance eligibility, and manage payment plans.
• Provide therapy for individuals and couples across diverse age ranges, adapting techniques and approaches to suit their unique needs.
• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation of client progress, including session notes and treatment updates, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Schedule ongoing appointments, keeping an updated calendar for both your clients and your therapeutic activities.
• Demonstrate the capacity to work effectively with clients presenting a wide variety of clinical issues and mental health conditions.

This role primarily focuses on serving youth, adults, and families referred to our detox center for outpatient treatment. Clients may present with a variety of challenges, including substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health issues, and those seeking therapy related to stress, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a social worker, you will provide an empathetic and supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• A valid social work state license is mandatory for this position.
• A minimum of four years of practical experience in clinical social work, with at least two years’ post-master’s experience or relevant practicum.

Prospective candidates with experience in community mental health settings, substance abuse programs, and using telehealth platforms for service delivery will be highly regarded. Familiarity with managing insurance claims and working within a team-oriented environment is beneficial.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses. Additionally, you will enjoy an attractive benefits package that includes:
