Job description

The Department of Radiology is looking to hire a motivated professional to serve as a Medical Education Program Assistant 2. This position will serve both the Radiology and Radiation Sciences programs.  This is a high energy position that requires customer service, fiscal responsibilities, assertiveness, patience, excellent oral and written communications, and superb organizational skills. This position requires someone able to be responsive to multiple internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines and requires resourcefulness, follow-through, and flexibility.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing and performing a range of diverse administrative activities for the Department of Radiology including but not limited to:

          Under direct supervision: plans, prepares and distributes practicum, training, tutorial and/or clinical rotation schedule as appropriate for the program participants.

         Works with students and/or fellows and faculty in coordinating adjustments, additions, deletions and modifications to individual rotations and schedules.

         Administrative liaison for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and education rotators (clerkships).

         Assist with department events (e.g. recruitment, education or research events and activities).

         Assist with orientation of all new incomers to the Dept. (faculty, staff, residents, rotators).

         Provides administrative support to the department.

         Central point of contact with internal and external stakeholders.

         Coordinate Meetings and take meeting minutes.

         Assist with departmental purchases, travel arrangements, and reimbursements.

         Cover the departmental front desk.

         Aid department with creating marketing materials.

         Maintain departmental social media.

         Establishing and maintain administrative records.

         Create, edit, and proofread correspondence.

         Misc. duties as assigned.
