Gastroenterology Physician (Inpatient & Outpatient)
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview
The Palm Beach Health Network is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing and dynamic team. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient consultative care and outpatient gastroenterology practice, providing the opportunity to deliver comprehensive digestive health services across the continuum of care.
Key Responsibilities
Inpatient Care
  • Provide consultation and management for hospitalized patients with acute GI disorders
  • Perform urgent and elective procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, PEG placement, and GI bleeding interventions
  • Collaborate closely with hospitalists, intensivists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in a shared call schedule to support inpatient coverage
Outpatient Practice
  • Manage a full spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in a clinic setting
  • Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient environment
  • Provide preventive care, including colorectal cancer screening and surveillance
  • Build long-term patient relationships with continuity-focused care
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Gastroenterology fellowship training
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in FL
