What You'll Do

As a Quality Manager, you continuously improve quality systems in order to increase customer service performance (OTIF) and to reduce and prevent customer dissatisfaction reports (CDR). You will apply high-level problem-solving skills in the resolution of the highest value problems or opportunities identified by the site. Other duties include:

  • Supports the site's processes by managing our quality program to maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance
  • Supports the BIM in developing our BI System.
  • Promote, foster and demand an environment of Zero Harm through coaching and leading by example - SAFETY as the NUMBER 1 PRIORITY!
  • Support compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives and regulations
  • Lives and fosters the Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) values and supports site leadership team to instill these values into our business culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote implementation of industry best practices, pursue the elimination of waste and support initiatives in manufacturing.
  • Support department requirements and projects as needed.
  • Conducts certification and recertification for trainers. Conducts verification/evaluation of new hires, and assists in determining whether they have satisfactorily completed their training.
  • Participates jointly with department engineer and/or manager in final training 'sign off' certification
  • Work with production management to maintain ISO certification
  • Functions as site lead auditor ISO 9001:2015
  • Coordinate and conduct problem-solving activities for CDRs/NCRs
  • Payroll support (time entry, review/verification, timekeeping, etc.)

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of manufacturing related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a quality role
  • Associates, 2 years Technical College or Junior College education preferred
  • Strong communication skills and thorough understanding of Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, and Standard work
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external parties as needed
  • Strong skill set in applying technology to data collection and analysis
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
