Position Summaryย ย 

The Dental Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dental practice. Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, financial management, and staff coordination, the Dental Practice Manager services as a central point of contact for both internal team members and external stakeholders. This role involves managing schedules, handling patient inquiries, maintaining records, and implementing office policies and procedures. The Dental Practice Manager also collaborates with dentists and other staff to optimize patient care delivery and enhance the overall patient experience. Exceptional organizational, communication, and strong leadership skills are essential for success in this role.ย 

Duties and Responsibilitiesย 

The duties include, but are not limited to:ย ย 

  • Serves as an office facilitator for all personnel by acting as liaison between office and Corporate and provides positive leadershipย 
  • Supervises all treatment support systems and patient flow sequencing.ย ย 
  • Maintains collection controls and systemsย 
  • Monitors overall expenses in the officeย 
  • Oversees daily closeout functions as well as daily deposit with the corporate officeย 
  • Evaluates work performance of subordinates and mentors, counsels, and provides discipline when necessaryย 
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedย 

Qualificationsย 

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ work experience in a dental or medical office with at least 1+ years as supervisor or management level with direct reports requiredย ย 
  • Strong customer service orientation towards patients and staffย 
  • Easily able to learn new technologies and systems requiredย 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentย ย 
  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as neededย 
  • Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel requiredย 
  • High School diploma or GED requiredย 

Knowledge and Skills/Expected Competenciesย 

  • Strong customer service orientation towards patients and staff.ย 
  • Easily able to learn new technologies and systems as required.ย 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.ย
