Job description

Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking an exceptional and experienced Deposit Operations Coordinator who thrives in a well-organized, fast-paced, and multi-task driven environment. This position will be responsible for supporting the electronic and deposit operations of the credit union. This position will report directly to the Director of Deposit Operations at our Farmington Hills location.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Process wires, payments, ACH, drafts, chargebacks, Shared Branching transactions, off-system payment processing (MFM and Commercial Alliance), file maintenance reports, verification of deposits, IRAs, RDC, and dormant accounts.
  • Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of Deposit Operations department and related clerical support functions.
  • Maintain credit and debit card systems/processes.
  • Assumes responsibility for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving account or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Maintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions.
  • Assumes responsibility for maintaining effective business relations with vendors, governmental agencies, and outside business and professionals.
  • Follows all BSA/OFAC policies/procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
A successful candidate will be an approachable team player with a personable and professional demeanor, a desire to learn and driven to achieve outstanding results---accurately and efficiently. We seek candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, along with 1-3 years experience in the same or equivalent position, technical knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and financial reports.
