Yzer is seeking a Hub Manager II to oversee daily operations of a last-mile delivery, ensuring accurate sorting, dispatch, and on-time delivery of all packages within the assigned service area. This role provides leadership to delivery drivers and hub staff, manages performance metrics, and ensures compliance with all safety, quality, and operational standards. The Hub Manager is responsible for workforce scheduling, inventory and package flow management, resource planning, and maintaining a high-performance, customer-focused culture. They serve as the primary point of accountability for operational excellence, problem resolution, process improvements, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient hub environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, be able to multi-task, and have a proven track record of managing operations to achieve business objectives. Yzer’s culture is at the core of everything we do. It is crucial for this candidate to foster trust, collaboration and team decision-making.

Hours: Monday – Friday from 5 am to 2 pm (40 hours per week). Hours may vary depending on business needs. Must be onsite at the Hub during standard operating hours.

Requirements — what you bring: Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage and evaluate operations supporting internal/external stakeholders, suppliers, transportation drivers (W2 and Independent Contractors).
  • Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organization to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements.
  • Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency.
  • Select carriers/suppliers and monitor service against performance criteria.
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports or customer issues.
  • Review impact of logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or carriers and report results to others.
  • Assess and make recommendations for logistics processes in potential new facilities or plants and advise of cost implications and efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities
  • Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports
  • Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies to ensure system reconciliation.
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
  • Interpret trends, analyze and review data. Provide meaningful logistics data to others in the organization to aid customer service and cost improvements
  • Manage reporting and KPI metrics to drive an effective operation.

Qualifications:
  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams toward achieving project goals. Skilled in delegating tasks effectively, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative, respectful team environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Able to communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization. Proficient in delivering information through various channels, including meetings, email correspondence, and presentations, while tailoring messaging to suit different audiences and stakeholders.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to assess challenges, think critically, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner to support business success.

Educational Background:

At least High School Diploma or GED

Industry Experience:

Technical Proficiency:

Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools or platforms.
