Job description

We are searching for a Practice Manager III for our TCP Medical Group Clinic - someone who works well in a fast-paced primary care setting. In this position, you'll direct, supervise, and coordinate the overall operations of a practice as well as advise, coach, and mentor practice staff. Routine decisions include independently addressing issues at the practice level.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, or Health Science related field required
  • Three years formal supervisory experience in healthcare administration, healthcare operations, or practice management required
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • PRA MANA - Practive Manager from the Practice Management Institute preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors work flow and ensures adequate coverage of level 3 practice
  • Schedules staff based on practice needs and fiscal constraints. 
  • Monitors/approves time off requests to assure adequate coverage.
  • Requests temporary staff per policy.
  • Interviews applicants, in conjunction with HR and ADRO/ DRO, to assure that open positions are filled in a timely manner by qualified candidates.
  • May partner with Physician Site Leader in daily operations.
  • Ensures staff compliance with TCP policies and procedures and external regulatory agencies of level 3 practice
  • Demonstrates knowledge of TCP policies and procedures.
  • Holds staff accountable for policy and procedure violations, addressing any performance or conduct issues in a timely, consistent manner
  • Maintains budget
  • Monitors production and ensures proper utilization of appointment templates
  • Reviews CBO reports monthly to identify areas for improvement. Implements plan and re-evaluates for effectiveness
