Description:
The Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating new group accounts and facilitating group visits for Bristol Mountain, Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park. While this position is responsible for group sales additional responsibilities may include assisting the Marketing & Group Sales Manager, Events Coordinator, and Guest Services Supervisor with marketing, sales, special events, public relations, and customer service efforts as they apply to Bristol Mountain, Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for acquiring new clients and group sales opportunities for Bristol Mountain, Bristol Mountain Aerial Adventures, Roseland Waterpark, and Roseland Wake Park. Research and identify new group sales leads.
  • Assist the Marketing & Group Sales Manager with the development of Group Sales collateral that relates to group sales initiatives.
  • Document all sales call information in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings (in-person or virtual) as a group sales representative.
  • Meet groups on the day of their arrival when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Guest Services Supervisor any group sales needs and visit information.
  • Ensure that all appropriate departments are informed of the needs of scheduled groups.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be active in and passionate about the ski/snow sports industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of market developments, and marketing strategies/practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, including ability to handle guest objections and disputes satisfactorily.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Full-Time Year-Round. Category 1. Hours are subject to seasonal fluctuation and will include weekends and evenings.
Physical Demands
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
