Job description

Position Summary This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA), the U.S. Sales and Marketing subsidiary, is a leader in mobile technologies, consumer electronics, home appliances, enterprise solutions and networks systems. For more than four decades, Samsung has driven innovation, economic growth and workforce opportunity across the United States—investing over $100 billion and employing more than 20,000 people nationwide. By integrating our large portfolio of products, services and AI technology, we’re creating smarter, sustainable and more connected experiences that empower people to live better. SEA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. To learn more, visit Samsung.com. For the latest news, visit news.samsung.com/us. We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager of Public Relations to lead communications across four product categories for the Home Entertainment business and build the programs that shape how the world talks about us. This role is equal parts brand storyteller, community strategist, and media operator — someone who can drive a cohesive earned media narrative while managing the day-to-day relationships and programs that fuel it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Multi-Category PR Strategy Lead communications strategy and execution across four distinct product categories (TV, Audio, Memory, and Monitors). Coordinate launch calendars, manage competing priorities, and ensure media momentum across all lines. Develop differentiated narratives for each while maintaining a coherent brand voice. Partner closely with local and global stakeholders — including Product, Engineering, R&D, Sales, and marketing leadership — to align communications with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging across markets.
  • Media Relations & Product Reviews Build and maintain relationships with tier-1 technology, trade, and consumer media. Drive proactive pitching, secure high-impact product reviews, and manage review unit programs end-to-end — from editorial calendar planning through post-publish coverage analysis. Develop always-on story angles, trend narratives, and category storytelling that sustain media momentum and brand relevance year-round.
  • Earned Influencer Program Design and run a scalable earned influencer program that prioritizes authentic advocacy over paid placements. Identify and cultivate relationships with creators and subject-matter voices whose audiences align with our product categories. Track engagement quality and conversion attribution to continuously refine the program.
  • Reddit Strategy & Community Engagement Develop our organic Reddit presence with a long-term credibility-first mindset. Identify the right subreddits, engage authentically, manage AMAs and community moments, and equip internal subject-matter experts to participate effectively. Monitor sentiment and surface community insights that inform broader messaging.
  • Thought Leadership & Analyst Relations Develop and execute a thought leadership PR program that positions Samsung’s Home Entertainment business and its leaders across media, speaking platforms, and industry forums. Build and manage relationships with key industry analysts across relevant research firms, developing a structured briefing and inquiry cadence.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Management Manage day-to-day relationships with PR agencies — setting clear briefs, establishing performance expectations, and holding partners accountable to quality and results. Serve as the central communications connector between local and global stakeholders, including Product, Engineering, R&D, Sales, and broader marketing leadership, ensuring priorities are aligned and Samsung's voice is amplified consistently across markets.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 8–12 years of PR or communications experience, with at least 3 years managing multi-program or multi-category portfolios
  • Proven track record securing coverage in top-tier technology and consumer media outlets
  • Hands-on experience running influencer programs with a strong preference for earned over paid approaches
  • Direct experience with analyst relations — you know how to brief, build rapport, and move the needle in reports
  • Genuine fluency with Reddit — you understand community norms, know where not to step, and can develop a credible brand voice organically
  • Strong editorial instincts: you can write, edit, and sharpen messaging at speed
  • Experience managing agencies and/or direct reports
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; you bring structure without over-engineering it
