A PR internship is a temporary position, often for students or recent graduates, where individuals gain hands-on experience in public relations. Interns assist PR professionals with tasks such as writing press releases, organizing events, managing social media, and communicating with the media. The internship helps interns develop key skills in communication, media relations, and strategic planning, preparing them for a career in public relations. PR internships are offered by agencies, corporations, and nonprofit organizations, and can be paid or unpaid depending on the employer.
