The Role The Coordinator, External Relations plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the External Relations Department. This position provides administrative and operational support to the Vice President, External Relations and staff while maintaining essential documentation and records keeping, managing initiatives, and coordinating quality reporting and regulatory requirements. The Coordinator facilitates communication with internal and external partners and service providers, assists with event planning, and supports compliance with institutional policies and processes.

Additionally, this role supports the development, maintenance, implementation, and evaluation of external relations strategy by working closely with the Vice President, External Relations to establish and track timelines, deliverables, and ensure all procedural, budget and regulatory requirements within the department are met. The Coordinator also updates and reviews processes, including the implementation of strategic initiatives for internal and external engagement, fundraising, events, communications, marketing, and the Centre of Entrepreneurial Excellence.
