Automotive Dealership Intern
Position Summary
The Automotive Dealership Intern will gain hands-on experience and exposure to the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced automotive dealership. This internship is designed for someone interested in learning more about the automotive industry, exploring different career paths, and developing practical workplace skills.
Throughout the internship, the Automotive Dealership Intern will have the opportunity to learn about and assist with various departments across the dealership, which may include Sales, Service, Parts, Accounting, Customer Service, Marketing, and other areas of dealership operations. The intern will work alongside experienced team members, observe departmental processes, and assist with projects and daily tasks while gaining a better understanding of how each department contributes to the overall success of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Departmental Exposure & Rotation
The Automotive Dealership Intern will have the opportunity to rotate through and gain exposure to various departments within the dealership, which may include Sales, Service, Parts, Accounting, Customer Service, Marketing, and other areas of dealership operations. This experience is designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of how an automotive dealership operates and introduce the intern to the variety of career opportunities available within the industry.
Day-to-Day Operations
The Intern will assist team members with day-to-day responsibilities, special projects, administrative tasks, organization, and other departmental needs as appropriate. Responsibilities may vary based on the department, current business needs, and the Intern's interests and learning opportunities.
Career Exploration & Professional Development
The internship is designed to provide real-world experience while allowing the Intern to explore potential career paths within the automotive industry.
