Job description

525 America is seeking a Marketing Specialist, Brand Activation to execute social media, influencer programs, brand events, and coordinate day-to-day communication with our PR agency in support of brand building and DTC growth. This is a hands-on execution role, not a strategy or people-management position. The role translates brand campaigns into consistent, high-quality output across social, influencer, events, and earned media touchpoints. The role reports to the Marketing Director and works closely with the Creative Lead, PR agency, and Ecommerce Ops Manager.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Execution

• Execute day-to-day social posting across Instagram (primary), TikTok, and emerging platforms

• Translate brand campaigns into consistent, engaging social content

• Manage content calendars and posting cadence

• Source, organize, and publish UGC aligned with brand standards

• Community management: comments, DMs, light engagement

Influencer & Talent Activation

• Execute influencer seeding and outreach programs

• Coordinate gifting, tracking, contracts, and follow-ups

• Maintain influencer lists and performance reporting

• Support celebrity stylist and key influencer relationships (strategy and approvals led by Marketing Director)

Events & Brand Activations

• Support execution of brand events (Brand Day 5/25, popups, influencer events)

• Manage logistics: vendors, guest lists, RSVPs, timelines

• Coordinate on-site execution and post-event content capture

• Support event-driven social, influencer, and PR amplification

PR Agency Coordination

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with the PR agency

• Coordinate sample pulls, gifting lists, and shipment logistics

• Support PR initiatives with social, influencer, and event alignment

• Track press placements and organize coverage for internal sharing

• Ensure consistent messaging and timing across PR, social, influencer, and events

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Creative to ensure brand consistency

• Partner with Ecommerce Ops to align campaigns with launches and promotions

• Coordinate with PR agency, freelancers, and vendors as needed

Requirements

• 3–6 years experience in marketing, social, brand activation, or PR coordination

• Fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred

• Hands-on experience working with PR agencies

• Experience supporting influencer programs and brand events

• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred

• DTC brand experience

• Experience managing samples, gifting, and press logistics

• Strong aesthetic sensibility with operational discipline

• Comfortable with reporting and tracking performance
