Position Overview:
We are seeking an Account Executive with 2-4 years of experience toplay a hands-on role supporting high-impact client campaigns including media relations, content development, thought leadership and digital strategy. You'll collaborate with a seasoned team of specialized communicators to help clients-ranging from cleantech startups to renewable energy leaders-amplify their message, land earned media coverage and build thought leadership in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in the clean energy landscape, have a knack for building relationships, and a proven track record fostering teamwork to deliver high-impact PR results.

This position is full time hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in person in either Salt Lake City, Utah or Austin, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate and assist in program brainstorming, development, and planning
  • Execute against public relations plans, product introduction strategies and special events, including budget tracking, material preparation
  • Schedules client-related team meetings and conference calls and/or events as needed
  • Take responsibility for junior level client relationships
  • Understand larger client timelines and priorities
  • Supports the overall organization and success of the account
  • Research, draft, edit and proofread press releases, and corporate communications materials
  • Nurture solid relationships with media and industry analysts

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of public relations experience, ideally in clean energy, tech, or sustainability sectors. Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in the energy transition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with digital PR tools and analytics platforms.
  • A team player with a collaborative spirit and leadership qualities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
