Some responsibilities include:
  • Provide assistance in personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming etc.
  • Assist or provide light housekeeping work
  • Engage patient in enjoyable activities such as games, books, art etc.
  • Provide companionship, empathy and basic emotional support
  • Provide and assist with meal preparations, grocery shopping, laundry etc.
  • Assist with medication reminders
  • Ensure patient confidentiality

Certification
  • HHA or PCA required (Certified in NY)
