Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with advanced Python skills.
  • Working experience with AWS data technologies, including S3.
  • Experience with JSON, XML and other relevant data formats.
  • Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Dynatrace, or Prometheus.
  • Expertise with git commands and associated VCS such as GitLab, GitHub, or Gitea.
  • Experience with markdown and Antora for creating technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, documents, and configures systems specifications that conform to defined architecture standards and address business requirements.
  • Involved in planning of system and development deployment and responsible for meeting compliance and security standards.
  • API development using AWS services in a scalable, microservices based architecture.
  • Identifies system functionality or performance deficiencies, executes changes to existing systems, and tests functionality to maintain effective data handling and integrity.
  • Documents testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations.
  • Acts as a liaison with key technology vendor technologists or other business functions.
  • Strategically designs technology solutions that meet the needs and goals of the organization and its users.
  • Leverages platform process expertise to assess if standard platform functionality solves business problems or if customization is required.
  • Tests the quality of a product and its ability to perform a task or solve a problem.
  • Performs basic maintenance and performance optimization procedures in primary operating systems.
  • Documents detailed technical system specifications based on business system requirements.
  • Ensures system implementation compliance with global and local regulatory and security standards.
