Job description

Job Description
We made history and now we work to transform the future - for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.
Enterprise Technology plays a critical part in shaping the future of mobility. If you're looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape, enhance the customer experience and improve people's lives, this is the opportunity for you. Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are.
At Ford, we believe our internal tools should be as sophisticated as the vehicles we build. We are looking for a creative and technical professional to join our Global Sourcing Services team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex corporate data and the human beings who use it, creating innovations and automation that makes work better for everyone.
You'll join a diverse, 7-person team split between the US and India. We pride ourselves on a culture of rapid agile development where your ideas aren't just heard-they're built.
Your Impact:
User-Centric Design: You will be our champion for the end-user, conducting research and analysis to ensure our Sourcing Tools are intuitive and industry-leading.
End-to-End Ownership: You'll be involved in the full lifecycle-from assessing customer needs and writing code to testing functionality and leading the final rollout.
Empower Others: You'll create the documentation and training that helps our global workforce master new technologies.
Responsibilities
Skills:
A blend of design thinking and technical "know-how" (ability to write/modify code).
Strong attention to detail-you believe that if it isn't thoroughly tested, it isn't finished.
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps and a passion for exploring what AI can do.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a truly global environment.
User Experience & Design Excellence:
User-Centric Architecture: Deeply understand user behaviors and preferences to architect intuitive, end-to-end interactions and logical information structures.
Journey Mapping & Advocacy: Expertly map user journeys across the organization, prioritizing user needs and championing "design craft" excellence in every solution.
Evidence-Based Design: Lead usability testing and UX research to critically evaluate and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of digital interactions.
Visual Storytelling: Effectively communicate complex design proposals and project progress to stakeholders and customers through compelling demos and documentation.
Technical Execution & Innovation
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or related field
Power Platform Mastery: 3+ years of experience building high-performance PowerApps (Canvas and Model-driven) featuring modern, sophisticated user interfaces.
Process Transformation: 4+ years of experience successfully migrating legacy business processes into automated PowerApps and Power Automate (Flow) solutions.
Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Translate business requirements into technical reality, meeting aggressive timelines while ensuring rigorous unit and integration testing.
Experience: 4+ years of dedicated UX design experience and 4+ years in Agile environments.
Adoption Expert: 3+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM).
Certification: Training and/or professional certification as a Microsoft PowerApps Professional or Developer.
Delivery & Strategic Impact:
Agile Leadership: 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery; adept at work estimation, sprint planning, and navigating dynamic project environments.
Change Management & Adoption: Drive Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts, including the creation of high-impact training materials and communication plans to ensure global user adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between app development, IT operations, and information security teams to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
Strategic Problem Solving: Act as a self-starter who can manage competing priorities and pivot quickly in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
System Integration: Proven ability to integrate Power BI dashboards and reports directly into PowerApps to drive data-driven decision-making.
O365 Ecosystem: 3+ years of experience building solutions that span the Office 365 suite, including SharePoint, Outlook, Graph API, and OneDrive.
Delivery & Strategic Impact
You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder...or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:
  • Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage
  • Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up childcare and more
