As a Car Wash Porter, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are meticulously cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role includes washing, waxing, and detailing vehicles while keeping the wash area organized and safe. General Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Cleaning: Perform thorough exterior and interior cleaning, including washing, drying, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces. Apply wax and tire shine as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect cleaned vehicles to ensure they meet dealership standards. Report any issues to the Car Wash Manager and re-clean vehicles as necessary.
  • Vehicle Management: Safely move, park, and deliver vehicles to designated areas within the dealership. Ensure all vehicle keys are correctly tagged and matched with the corresponding vehicles.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Keep the car wash area clean and organized. Dispose of trash and manage dealership tools and equipment.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) like non-slip shoes, goggles, and gloves. Handle chemicals and equipment in line with safety regulations.
  • Team Support: Assist with general shop and janitorial tasks as needed, contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Prior experience in vehicle washing or detailing is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
