Power Solution Technician - Power Up Your Career in a HighImpact Technical Role

Hourly rate: $27.00 - $36.00

Industrial power systems keep warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers running - and our Power Solution Technicians keep those systems alive. If you're mechanically inclined, electrically savvy, and motivated by solving real problems for real customers, this is a role where your skills matter every single day.

Abel Womack, Inc. is looking for a Power Solution Technician who thrives on independence, takes pride in quality work, and delivers a professional, customerfocused experience on every call. Under the guidance of our Customer Service Manager, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial batteries, chargers, cables, connectors, and related components across a wide range of customer sites.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose & Repair industrial batteries, chargers, and electrical/mechanical components using solid technical judgment.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, installations, watering, and component replacements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify charger compatibility and ensure all equipment operates safely and correctly.
  • Document service work clearly, neatly, and on time - including daily timecards.
  • Communicate with customers, dispatch, parts teams, and technical specialists to keep jobs moving smoothly.
  • Follow safety protocols including LOTO, OSHA training, and proper hazardous waste handling.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle to company standards.
  • Identify additional customer needs and share leads with the Customer Service Manager or Account Manager.
  • Stay sharp through ongoing technical training on batteries, chargers, and emerging technologies.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificates or apprenticeships are a big plus.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with working knowledge of AC/DC theory.
  • Ability to read schematics, manuals, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with battery/charger repair is helpful - but we're ready to train the right person.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a teamfirst mindset.
  • Computer literacy and comfort with digital documentation.
  • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, work at heights, and handle heavy components safely.

Why This Role Matters

As a Power Solution Technician, you're not just fixing equipment - you're keeping entire operations running. Customers rely on your expertise, your professionalism, and your commitment to quality. You'll have independence in the field, support from a strong team, and the satisfaction of solving problems that truly matter.

Why You'll Love Working With Us

  • A culture built on quality, integrity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
  • Companyprovided service vehicle, tools, and technical resources
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career
  • A team that values your work and respects your time
