Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Power Systems Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $100.00 - $120.00

**US Citizenship is required.**
 **Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Defines and establishes system requirements for power quality and system stability.
  • Defines and establishes system electrical interface requirements.
  • Develops system test processes and procedures.
  • Defines facility requirements for testing.
  • Participates/leads Test Readiness Reviews.
  • Participates/leads test data reviews.
  • Participates in mission integration activities.
  • Supports launch approval activities.

Basic Hiring Criteria: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related major.
  • 10+ years of power systems design experience for space applications.
  • Experience with Radioisotope Power Systems.
  • Experience working on NASA programs.

Desired Qualifications: 
  • Master's Degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering with a focus on space.
