Job Description:

Job Summary:

  • This is a senior level position in application/system engineering.
  • Responsibilities include defining analog IC and power module products, developing and debugging reference circuits, writing datasheets and application/design notes, and providing application support and technical training.


Essential Functions:

  • Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define analog IC products in DC/DC converters for CPU, GPU, ASIC, and SOC.
  • Work with customer and field application team to provide total power solution.
  • Develop application reference circuits and system level power management
  • Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products.


Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • 8+ years of hand-on experience in switch mode power supply hardware designs is required.
  • Prior experience on schematics and layout designs is required.
  • Self-motivated and can-do attitude is required.
  • Fluent communication skills in English is required.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills towards customers is required.
  • Prior experience in defining power management IC or power modules is highly preferred.
  • MSEE or higher is required.
  • 20% domestic or internal travelling is required.
