Job description

Al's Specialty Marine of Rochester Minnesota, a successful dealership for over 47 years, is seeking a full time outboard technician.  We sell Ranger and Lund boats and Ranger pontoons.  We also sell and service Mercury outboards as well as servicing Evinrude and Yamaha outboard motors.  We are one of the oldest dealerships in Minnesota and plan to be around for a long time and we are looking for another experienced technician to go forward with us.  We are located in an ever expanding Rochester Minnesota.  Rochester is often referred to as the "Medical Capital" of the world.  Rochester is home to the Mayo Clinic, St. Mary's Hospital, Olmsted Hospital, and Olmsted Clinic.

We are looking for a technician who has experience with four stroke outboards.  Both carbureted and fuel injected. Someone who also has a solid background in direct injected two stroke outboards such as Mercury Optimax and Evinrude Etec outboards.

Job duties will include:

- Diagnose and repair of boats, outboard motors, and trailers.

-  Installation, testing, and repair of accessories such as trolling motors, depth finders, power poles, jack plates, etc.

- Use of fork lift for unloading incoming freight and boats.

Skills desired:

- Proficiency at repairing both two stroke and four stroke outboards.

- Ability to work well with others.

- Ability to operate a fork lift and skid loader.
