Job description

Acuity Inc. is seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform developer to help support our clientโ€™s dynamic and fast-paced project.

The Developer will serve on a focused, small team to design, develop, integrate, deploy, maintain, enhance, train and provide governance support for the client's Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics technologies, which the agency will use to modernize and migrate business processes to the cloud.  The candidate must be able to leverage advanced coding to enhance the low-code capabilities native to the platform. The successful candidate will be a motivated team player with the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, exciting environment.

This position is responsible for;

  • Supporting security, enterprise architecture, enterprise systems, service-oriented architecture, and interoperability
  • Deploying applications in the cloud
  • Applying Agile and DevOps methodologies within a large-scale application development environment
  • Developing flexible, scalable, and highly available systems
  • Working as part of an agile team to deliver new business requirements by implementing stories the business analyst team provides

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited university
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the creation of mid-to-enterprise level software systems
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in designing, documenting and developing web-based and stand-alone software applications with MS Dynamics/Power Platform
  • Must have  advanced level skills in the following technologies;
    • Dynamics/Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas apps
    • Power Automate
  •  
  • Must have intermediate level skills in the following technologies;
    • Dataverse/CDS custom plugins
    • C#
    • Javascript
    • TypeScript
    • React
    • PCF Components
    • CSS
  • Experience in design and implementation of SOAP and RESTful web services
  • Experience with integrating Dynamics solutions in Office 365 and Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with automated configuration processes and tools such as PowerShell DSC, including installation, administration, coding and facilitating developer training
  • Experience with designing, implementing and supporting a DevSecOps environment (code repository, binary repository, continuous integration/delivery, error tracking)
  • Experience with producing and grooming Agile product backlogs and interacting with Product Owners
  • High comfort level with demoing or speaking direct to the customer
  • Requirements gathering and analysis

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the following is desirable: PowerShell, DevOps (especially CI/CD pipelines), Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage

 Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a High Risk Public Trust clearance.

The salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, contract requirements, applicable labor categories, and, where applicable, contract award and funding.
