Job description

The AI Platform & Application Developer role is critical to Framatome’s digital transformation strategy by enabling the development of secure, scalable AI solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate complex workflows, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support innovation across the organization. In a highly regulated and safety-focused industry, this role also ensures AI technologies are implemented responsibly with strong governance, cybersecurity, and reliability standards, helping position Framatome as a leader in modernizing the nuclear energy sector.


  • Design and develop AI-enabled applications leveraging modern LLM frameworks and agent-based architectures
  • Build and integrate solutions using emerging AI tooling, orchestration frameworks, and MCP technologies
  • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python, C#, and Node.js
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications in Kubernetes environments both on-premise and in Azure AKS
  • Support hybrid cloud architectures spanning Azure GCC High and on-premise infrastructure
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and development teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and developer automation workflows
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend platform improvements
  • Optimize AI application performance, scalability, and operational reliability
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical planning sessions
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a technical or business field with a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of a variety of the Information Technology concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions/specifications.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Salary: $85,000-$116,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
