Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques to produce precision components. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for craftsmanship, this position is perfect for you!

Duties

  • Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
  • Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and press brake machines to shape and assemble metal components
  • Operate plasma cutters, pipe threading equipment, and the press brake machine for precise cuts and bends
  • Conduct rigging, mechanical assembly, and welding of structural steel or piping according to ASME codes & standards
  • Maintain quality control by inspecting welds with calipers, micrometers, and schematics; ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Support fabrication projects on construction sites or manufacturing facilities involving ductwork, pipe systems, or structural assemblies

Experience

  • Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols
  • Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW processes, and welding techniques
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication tasks
  • Experience operating power tools such as plasma cutters, press brakes, forklifts, machining tools, and soldering equipment
  • Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, assembly, rigging, and ductwork installation
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for precise measurements and fabrication tasks
  • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication projects
  • Must pass preemployment drug test
