Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Power Platforms Developer Journeyman to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and sustain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) to meet ARNG G6 operational, analytics, and automation needs.
  • Build secure, scalable applications, workflows, and dashboards integrating enterprise data sources, service management tools, and Microsoft 365/Azure services across NIPRNet/SIPRNet.
  • Implement ALM/DevOps practices for solution lifecycle: source control, solution packaging, deployment pipelines, testing, and release management.
  • Embed governance, security, DLP, RBAC, and audit/logging controls into Power Platform solutions to meet compliance and operational requirements.
  • Develop automation that streamlines incident tracking, change management, capacity monitoring, and reporting to support 24/7 enterprise operations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to coordinate deployments, change control, and RMF/ATO evidence collection.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute reusable components, standards, and Center of Excellence practices.

Qualifications
  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Candidate must meet ONE of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; OR
    • Relevant DoD/military training (example: DAU SWE 301); OR
    • Relevant professional certification or equivalent experience (example: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate).
  • Required experience and skills:
    • Hands-on software development with experience developing enterprise Power Platform solutions.
    • Proficiency with Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate (cloud/desktop flows), Power BI (modeling/DAX), and Dataverse.
    • Experience integrating Power Platform with REST APIs, Azure Functions, connectors, and enterprise data sources.
    • Familiarity with ALM/CI-CD for Power Platform, solution packaging, incremental refresh, and performance tuning.
    • Strong scripting/programming skills (PowerFx, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PowerShell) and ability to produce operational/runbook documentation.
  • Desired:
    • Prior DoD/enterprise Power Platform COE or governance experience.
    • Experience with PCF components, Power Platform ALM tooling, advanced integrations, and RMF/ATO evidence workflows.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
