The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, GS-0895-11, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with 309 MMXG at FE WARREN AFB located in CHEYENNE, WYOMING. The primary purpose of this position is to Exercise industrial engineering principles and techniques with direct responsibility for independently planning and executing the 309th Depot Maintenance program. This maintenance program is designed for the long-range life extension of the Minuteman III ICBM Weapons System into the year 2030. This position requires diversified planning skills relative to depot field team workload and represents the single
integrated Workload/Planning, Scheduling function at the operating location. Performs studies of engineered time standards; methods engineering; design of work centers, power configuration, materials handling, personnel utilization, etc., for completion of depot level maintenance.

- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.
- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.
- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to programs and issues involved in maintenance/modifications of ICBM Missile Weapon Systems.
2. Knowledge of the regulatory constraints and functions of support processes involved in the
maintenance/modifications of the missile weapon systems such as, maintenance planning, manpower, material, and contracting support; test equipment, technical data, computer resources support, and facilities.
3. Knowledge sufficient to review plans and schedules of various missile modification programs to evaluate. And recommend ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency or to modify processes to meet schedule requirements.
4. Ability to interpret and apply depot level maintenance task manuals and weapon systems technical orders to execute work packages.
5. Knowledge of technical baseline document usage to develop viable schedules.
6. Knowledge of security requirements to safeguard and maintain Nuclear Missile Weapon Systems.
7. Ability to independently plan, coordinate, and organize work to identify problems and develop Innovative solutions.
8. Ability to read engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
9. Ability to gather, analyze, and present data and supporting analyses such as manpower validation exercises, and outsource studies.
