Sr. Power BI Developer

Location: Brooklyn, NY -Hybrid- 3 DAYS 0NSITE
VISA: OPT/ STEM OPT/ H1B

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with strong experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and enterprise reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, SSIS, and advanced data visualization techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
Build data models, ETL processes, and advanced DAX calculations
Develop paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
Create geospatial and KPI reporting dashboards
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions
Manage report deployments, security access, and production migrations
Perform data analysis using SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS, and analytics platforms
Support Agile project delivery and documentation efforts
Mentor junior team members on Power BI best practices
Required Qualifications:

7+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Power Platform tools
Advanced SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and ETL experience
Experience with DAX, Power Query, Power Pivot, and data modeling
Knowledge of Star Schema and Snowflake Schema design
Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments
Strong analytical and communication skills
