Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking a Power BI Developer to join their team in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring compatibility with enterprise data models, and managing deployment plans.
Responsibilities:
• Quick understanding of existing systems, databases, and procedures and follows enterprise level policies when executing projects.
• Design and develop PowerBI reports, dashboards and queries, and self-service solutions based on the business requirements.
• Work with the leads to ensure that Enterprise Data Model is compatible with PowerBI reporting and satisfies all business requirements that are to be coded within reporting solution.
• Complete unit tests, user acceptance tests and system integration tests of the reports/dashboards built and manage the lifecycle of the deployment.
• Work with administrators to manage workspaces and deployment plans.
• Create clear workspace plans and migration plans to promote PowerBI reports from development to QA and production environments.
• Work with the admins to identify and tune any performance or user access issues.
• Knowledge of Oracle analytics cloud preferred.
• Successful delivery of Power BI dashboards in a most efficient manner with tight deadlines.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 4 years hands on development and administration of Power BI Reports & Dashboards.
• Expertise in data modelling, building dimensional models from OLTP systems.
• Expertise in building visualizations in PowerBI and with SQL, PL/QL, T-SQL, DAX etc.
• Expertise in DAX, Power Pivot, Power Query, Power View, web interfaces and API's integrating PowerBI.
• Expertise in PowerBI themes, security, roles and advanced configurations.
• Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, RDBMS concepts and data analysis.
• Experience in migrating from other BI platforms to Power BI, in the most efficient manner, especially OAC to PowerBI.
• Understanding of the Azure ecosystem including but not limited to the understanding of Service Principles, Key Vault, Azure Storage Accounts (Data Lake), AML etc.
