Job description

Role Title: BI Developer
Location: 3940 Olympic Blvd Suite 400, Erlanger, KY 41018 ( Onsite , In office, all 5 days)
5 - 8 years of total experience
3 - 5 years in BI development (dashboards, reports, KPIs)
2+ years working with modern Microsoft BI stack
1+ year exposure to cloud data platforms (Fabric, Synapse, Azure SQL, or similar)
Target senior-level BI Developers with 5 - 8 years of experience, strong Power BI and Microsoft Fabric expertise, solid data modeling and ETL skills, and the ability to work onsite and independently absorb reporting workload during the Fabric rollout.
Role at a Glance Onsite: BI contractor working alongside our Data & Analytics team. Hands-on SQL development, report building, and Power BI work across our Microsoft data stack (SQL Server, Azure, Fabric, Power BI). Must operate independently and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
Must-Have Technical Skills
  • Strong SQL (Structured Query Language) - able to translate between SQL logic and business context in both directions
  • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) - heavy emphasis, non-negotiable
  • SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Power BI - dashboards and paginated reports
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language
  • ADF (Azure Data Factory)
  • PySpark / SparkSQL
  • Python for accessing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) via standard libraries or equivalent
  • Excel Macros and Power Query
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (basic is fine - we'll ramp them up)
