Overview:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that drive business insights and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data teams to translate analytical requirements into effective BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports using data from multiple sources.
  • Create data models, define relationships, and implement measures/calculations using DAX and Power Query (M language).
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and data visualizations.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Work with SQL databases, data warehouses, and APIs to extract and transform data.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and ensure data integrity and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders - to provide actionable insights.
  • Support publishing, versioning, and scheduling of reports in the Power BI Service environment.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with Power BI updates, new features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Power BI development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query (M).
  • Proficiency in DAX for complex calculations and performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
  • Experience integrating Power BI with Azure Data Services, SQL Server, or other cloud data platforms.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts, data governance, and visualization best practices.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical teams effectively.
Good to Have:
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power Platform integration.
  • Experience in finance, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.
Educational Qualification:
