Purpose:

As a Senior BI Analytics Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming enterprise data into meaningful, actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across Athene. Serving as a trusted partner to stakeholders throughout the organization, you will identify business opportunities, translate complex requirements into scalable analytical solutions, and deliver intuitive self-service reporting experiences that enable data-driven decision making.
This role combines strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and modern BI engineering practices to deliver enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting solutions. You'll collaborate closely with business leaders, Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Business Intelligence teams while leveraging AI-enabled capabilities to modernize and accelerate the analytics development lifecycle. Accountabilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders across the enterprise to understand business challenges, build domain expertise, and design scalable analytical solutions that address critical business needs.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise-grade self-service dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Governance, and Business Intelligence teams to deliver trusted, governed, and high-quality analytics products built on reliable enterprise data.
  • Apply strong SQL, data modeling, and data wrangling techniques to transform complex data into intuitive, actionable insights while continuously improving reporting performance and usability.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance business analysis, accelerate solution design, improve development efficiency, and modernize the end-to-end analytics delivery lifecycle.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience designing and delivering business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Strong experience writing complex SQL, performing data analysis and data wrangling, and designing intuitive dashboards that translate business needs into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders, facilitate requirements gathering, influence solution design, and deliver analytical products in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools or a demonstrated curiosity and ability to apply AI to improve analytical workflows, solution delivery, and business outcomes while exhibiting critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, and a bias for action.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to balance business priorities and technical solutions across cross-functional teams.
