Job description

Job Summary:
RC Willey is seeking a Data Engineer to collect, analyze, and interpret data that supports informed business decisions and drives performance. This role will develop data solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build efficient data models and create impactful visualizations.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize SQL to query and extract data
• Develop Power BI dashboards for various business units
• Create PowerApps as needed to support project goals
• Work with end users to design effective visualizations
• Extract data from multiple sources to provide visualization to accommodate the needs of the company
• Validate the data displayed to the end users
• Refine data base designs and data structure for efficiency in models
• Analyze key metrics and identify patterns
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders on data projects.
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of technical and relevant data engineering experience
• Expert SQL skills, including stored procedure development
• Proficient in SSIS, Power BI, data warehousing, and Microsoft Visual Studio
• Strong Data Modeling skills
• Experience in ETL processes
• Experience in data analytics and data visualizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure
Preferred:
• Strong programming and database skills using C# and/or Python
• Experience creating and maintaining Power Apps
• Familiarity in sales, inventory, accounting data analysis and data models
